These were all in what we call section II

From the South Fence there is a road then rows of graves that start from the East fence going back to the West. There are like five roads dividing the cemetery so we call them Sections I through 5.  There was a severe storm in the late 1930s' that felled some huge old trees and when the trees fell they shattered a lot of the headstones. So there are lots of "unknowns" in the cemetery at the back of Section II by the fence. They came in and marked them with 12 by 12 square concrete blocks.

Gloria, these are all of the same marker. It is a very old piece of tree bark , maybe from the time the trees fell.  We made out the name to be Robert Laurence Born 1929? Died 1936? Glasgow Scotland The letters F A S P and  the rest we are still working on. If you like a puzzle this is one.  It just lies on top of the grave and they move it, mow, and put it back. None of the high  winds has moved it the worker said.
