Pindley-?? Graves
Jones Co. Cemeteries of TX
Submitted by Shannon H. Middlebrook
These are two old graves of Cowboys that are about 9 miles Southwest of Anson. They are in a past in the middle of nowhere. Kind of up on a hill that overlooks the Clear Fork. Not sure how they died but have heard a lot of different things. I have heard that one died in an Indian attack on a Wells Forgo stage coach, And that one was bitten by a snake, And then I have heard that both of them just got sick and died. There are no records of them in the Courthouse. It took me a long time just to get permisson to get out to them.
