Liberty Cemetery

Location: (Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery) located 2 mi. S. of the Leslie community.

Much of the credit for the cemetery lists in Hall county should be given to Mike Hughes who walked each cemetery, recorded, alphabetised and transcribed them with a manual typewriter, starting back in the 1970's.

This is the only church cemetery known to have ever existed in Hall County. Liberty Baptist Church disbanded around 1940, but interments continued there for several years. The church building was removed sometime in the 1950s.
