Wayne Allen Terry Sr.

Odessa Wayne Allen Terry Sr., 76, of Odessa, was born August 30, 1928 in Roscoe Texas. He passed away at Medical Center Hospital, November 23, 2004.
He moved from Odessa from Roscoe in the early 1940s. He graduated from Odessa High School and attended John Tarleton.
He was the owner of Terry Pest Control until he retired. He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, as well as a 32nd Degree Mason.
Wayne was an avid outdoorsman … he loved hunting and fishing and training bird dogs. He had a passion for music, played guitar and enjoyed writing songs and poetry. Most of all he took great pride in spending time with his children and grandchildren in the outdoors teaching them to hunt and fish.
He is preceded in death by his parents Radford and Willie Ila Terry, and he is survived by his wife, Cleta Terry; sons, Wayne Terry Jr. and wife Mary Terry of Belton, Jason Terry and wife Billie Terry of Odessa, David Terry of Odessa, Mike Terry of San Angelo and Ronnie Terry of San Angelo; daughter, Debbie Franklin and husband Howard of Odessa; grandchildren, Pam Terry of Belton, Kim Terry of Washington, Austin Terry of San Angelo and Blake Terry
of Odessa; and one great- grandchild, Morgan Terry of Belton.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Kyle Rodgers officiating. Interment following services at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
