Gladys ‘Pat’ Edwards Stevens

MIDLAND — Gladys “Pat” Edwards Stevens, age 86 of Midland, passed away October 16, 2004 at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the Christian Church of Midland on Neely with Jim O’Banion officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. The family will receive visitors from 6 til 8 Monday night at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors, 4635 Oakwood in Odessa.
Pat was born March 16, 1918 in Chickasha, Okla. To David and Mattie Yountz McDonald. She worked as a nurse for many years, working for some time at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was a charter member and attended Belmont Baptist in Odessa for 40 years and was a member at the Christian Church of Midland. She also loved to dance and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include her husband , Robert Stevens of Midland; sons, Don Edwards of Midland, Jerry Edwards of Collieville, TX and David Edwards of Odessa; a step daughter, Francis Sue Compton of Midland; brothers, David Leo McDonald of Odessa, Buford Ray McDonald of Midland; sisters, Peggy Stone of Graham, Opal Lane of Portland, Linda Jo Fulkerson of Kingwood and Deanna Bennett of Arlington; grandchildren, Kyle, Derek, Shawn, Annette, Wendy, Wade, Darla, Samantha and David; (10) great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ennis “Curley” Edwards; a grandson, Todd David Edwards and a sister Margaret Traveland Johns.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
