Sharon Elaine Slocumb

ODESSA — Sharon Elaine Slocumb, 56, a longtime resident of Odessa passed away Monday, August 30, 2004, at the Hospice House. She was born January 23, 1948, in Sweetwater. She graduated from Borden County High School in Gail, Texas. She attended Howard Junior College and North Texas University. She was secretary for RADCO Imaging. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; aunts and uncles; and grandson, Austyn Jordan.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Slocumb of Odessa; son, Steve Slocumb and wife, Billie Sue, of Calif.; daughters, Jessica Jean Jordan and husband, Archie and Tracey Michelle Jordan and husband, Charley, all of Odessa and Angela Slocumb of Allen, Texas; her parents, G.W. and Jean Wilkerson of Odessa; brother, Gary Wilkerson and wife, Lou Ann, of Comanche, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Tatiana, Nathan, Sarah, G.W., Savanna, Taylor, Rylee, Andy, Bryan, Ryan, Chris and Patrick.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society local fund.
