Jewel America Miller

ODESSA — Jewel America Miller was born January 22, 1912, in Central, Texas to Luther and Mary Williams. Mrs. Miller married W.J. Miller in 1929.
She resided at 1212 Century in Odessa until her death on September 27, 2004. She is survived by her sons, Billy D. Miller and wife, Bennie, of Gardendale and W.E. Miller of Midland. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by his sister, Leila Clay of Coahoma; sisters-in-law, Lois Mendoza and husband, Tony, Marguerite McKinley, Connie Tucker and Ruth Williams.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jewel’s name to the church or charity of your choice. She was Baptist. She is rejoined with Jack in Heaven. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2000.
