ODESSA Geraldine Lorena Hulsey, 70, of Odessa, died Saturday, November 27, 2004, while visiting family for the holidays.
Mrs. Hulsey was born October 14, 1934, in Keota, Okla., to Edgar and Lorena Cole. After she retired from the University of Oklahoma, her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She was always finding new recipes to try. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hulsey.
Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Arledge and husband, Larry, of San Angelo; three sons, Dewayne Fletcher and wife, Ellen, of Norman, Okla., Mike Hulsey and wife, Anita, of Norman, Okla., and Roger Hulsey and wife, Susie, of Odessa; her sisters, Jewel Gaultney, Edna Stamps, Sibby Walden and Kathryn Palmer; her brother, Kenneth Cole; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one more due in December.
There will be a visitation from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
