Burnece Brinson
ODESSA Burnece Brinson, 80, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17,
2004, at the Hospice House. She was born February 8, 1924, in Eastland
County. She graduated from Rising Star High School. She moved to Kermit
in 1945, where she stayed until she moved to Penwell in 1956, and then
to Odessa in 1962.
She had worked as a waitress and was a proud member of Temple Baptist
Church and the Galilean Class. She loved her family and to travel. She
will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Brinson in
2001; her sister, Bobbie Browning; and brother Jack Ray Townsend.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Robins of Odessa; brother-in-law,
Minor Browning of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2004, at
Temple Baptist Church (Harvesters Class Room) with Rev. Kyle Rogers
officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
