Sue Thompson
ODESSA — Lucinda Sue Thompson, 67, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2004,
in Hodges.
She was born February 16, 1937, to E.D. and Gladys Wright in Denison.
She was a bookkeeper for Newman’s Package Shop, and a member of the
Baptist church. She married Billy Thompson in 1952, but later divorced.
She lived in Odessa until 1996, and retired to Brownwood Lake.
She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Thompson; father, E.D.
Wright; mother, Gladys Wright Hines; sister, Ann Wilson; brother, Sammy
Wright; and Billy Thompson.
Survivors include her sons, Ricky Thompson and wife, Sheila, of Hodges;
Tommy Thompson and wife, Linda, of Abilene; Terry Thompson and wife,
Karri, of Hodges; Randy Thompson and wife, Candy, of Odessa; and Curtis
Thompson and wife, Kim, of Gardendale; 11 grandchildren, Brittany
Thompson, Krissy Vinson and husband, Logan; Kelly Sue Thompson, Tanner
Thompson, Logan Thompson, Karlee Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Taylor
Thompson, Tate Thompson, Randi Thompson, and Dustin Moreau; and one
great-grandchild, Blake Douglas Vinson.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
Home.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God
Church in Odessa, with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
