Mildred
T. Graves
ODESSA — Mildred T. Graves, 90, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2004, at the
Hospice House Facility in Odessa, Texas. Mrs. Graves lived in Odessa and was
previously from Farmington, N.M.
She was born January 13, 1914, in Vivian, La., to father, Walter T. Turner, and
mother, Madge Taylor Turner. Mildred was a homemaker. She loved life and enjoyed
many activities including cooking and gardening. She lived an extraordinary life
full of vigor. She loved her family and greatly enjoyed their company.
She is survived by: her son, Billy E. Rhea; sister, Billie J. Stewart;
granddaughter, Betty Rhea; and grandson, Mike Rhea, all from Odessa, TX,;
grandson, Frank Rhea of Houston, TX.; and granddaughter, Dawn Marie Rhea of New
Orleans, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to express their most sincere thanks and appreciation to
Mildred’s caregivers.
Graveside funeral services will be held today, May 29, 2004, at 11 a.m. at
Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Odessa with the Rev. Gayle Wilson
officiating.
