ODESSA — Juan Morales Valenzuela, 59, of Odessa, passed away Thursday,
Jan. 29, 2004, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 24, 1944, in Alpine, Texas, to Juan and Angelina M.
Valenzuela.
He was a Christian Catholic and worked as a glacier in the Glass
Industry.
Mr. Valenzuela was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister,
Viola Porras.
He is survived by his wife, Florella Valenzuela of Odessa; two sons,
Steven Valenzuela and wife Sandra of Dallas and Jorge A. Zubiate of
Odessa; three daughters, Laura Valenzuelao and Selena Valenzuela, both
of Dallas, and Karla K. Flores and husband Robert of Odessa; three
brothers, David Valenzuela and wife Isabel, Ruben Valenzuela and Jesse
Valenzuela and wife Estella, all of Odessa; two sisters, Sylvia Jimenez
of Odessa and Catalina Salas and husband Pete of Marathon; 10
grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at St.
Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating.
Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fermin Ramirez, Jimmy Valenzuela, Jesse Valenzuela
Jr., Juan Jiminez, Robert Salas and Danny Valenzuela.
