Sally Virginia Wright Gist
ODESSA — It’s a gift to be a teacher, to mold young hearts and
minds;
To light a fire for knowledge and for fact of every kind,
Because it’s so important that our young ones learn what’s true,
There is an Angel who brings gratitude for the children taught by you!
Sally Virginia Wright Gist passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004. Sally
was born on July 23, 1936, in Odessa, Texas. She graduated from Odessa
High School in 1954.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Eric Gist.
