Ray ‘Raydio’ Garrett ODESSA — Ray “Raydio” Garrett, age 59, of Odessa, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, in Odessa. Ray was born July 23, 1944, in Carmi, Ill., to Luther and Vaudie Stover Garrett. He had lived most of his life in Odessa and graduated from Ector High School. He attended Texas Tech University on a football scholarship. Ray owned and operated AAA Septic Service and was a member of West University Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Larry Wayne Garrett. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo of Odessa; three daughters, Chayla, Gina Garrett and Kristi Williams, all of Odessa; one son, Adam Garrett; mother, Vaudie Garrett; one sister, Lou Ann Allen of Odessa; and two brothers, John Garrett of Odessa and Frankie Garrett of Alaska. Funeral Services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. |
