E.’ Alford
ODESSA — Thelbert Eathel Alford, 70, of San Angelo, died Monday, Feb.
23, 2003, in Baptist Memorial Nursing Home in San Angelo.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens
in Odessa. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Horry County, S.C.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, W. J. Alford of
Odessa, and Herbert Alford and Emma Rabon of South Carolina.
He is survived by his son, Curtis of San Angelo. Other survivors include
his brother, E. J. ‘Shorty’ and sister-in-law, Peggy Alford, of
Odessa. He is also survived by sisters, Mary Johnson and Jane Best of
South Carolina; many nieces and nephews, close friends and loved ones.
T. E. was a Christian and a member of the Church of God.
