Bertha Emilie Raibourn, age 74, passed away Friday, March 26, 2004, at Comanche Nursing Home in Comanche.
She was born May 5, 1929, to Fritz W. and Lydia E. Redman in Rowena, Runnels County, Texas. She married Billy Raibourn on May 16, 1954, in Ballinger. She enjoyed gardening and working with all kinds of flowers. She loved being with her family and taking care of the grandkids. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and did childcare in her home.
Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Vickie Luna and husband Rudy of Odessa, Phyllis Priddy and husband Dennis of Sydney, Texas, and Kathey Raibourn of Odessa; son, Billy Raibourn of Elizabethtown, Ky.; brothers, Daniel and Willard Redman, both of Miles, Texas, and Richard Redman of Tacoma, Wash.; and seven grandchildren, Krystal and Lance Luna, Sigrid and Meredith Priddy, and Dustin, Jennifer and Jason Raibourn.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Clydel Chapman officiating.
