ODESSA
— Robert “Bob” Muncy, 72, a longtime resident of Odessa, passed
away Friday, March 26, 2004, at his residence. He was born Oct. 28, 1931, in Amarillo. He was owner of Bob Muncy Welding & Construction for many years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Muncy; son, Robert LeeRoy Muncy; daughter, Janis Fitzpatrick; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his son, Tommy Muncy and wife Cindy of Odessa; and seven grandchildren, Chad Muncy, Matthew Muncy, Shawna Muncy, Tausha Muncy, Justin Muncy, Jordan Fitzpatrick and Bethany Fitzpatrick. There will be a visitation from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2004, at Belmont Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Paul Bow, Craig Lomax, Royce Reyenga, Bobby Valdez, Rodney Green and Ronny Keith. Honorary Pallbearers will be PeeWee Perry and Gene Sloan. Memorials may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in Amarillo and Odyssey Health Care in Odessa. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. |
