This is a single tombstone beside the road, near the ghost town of Sipe Springs, Comanche Co TX .

On CR 185, 1½ miles East of Sipe Springs

 

COMMENTS: Along the side of CR 185 is a series of three tombstones, which read, "Little Girl, Age 3, Name Unknown, Died 1870 Moving West".  Over the years, people have left various trinkets to show their compassion and love for this little girl.  The Sipe Springs Cemetery was built three years after her death, but it is not known why her little body was never moved to the cemetery.
