Location: Alamo Indian Reservation
History: The Telesfor Chavez family had a ranch (about 2 townships) which was homesteaded in the mid 1800's in what is now the Alamo Indian Reservation. An old family cemetery located in the midst of this reservation was the only piece of land that was not included when the ranch was sold to the U.S. Government in 1949.
