SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Rosevelt Hicks, Sr., 73, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Grand Cane, LA. Interment will follow at Zion Hill B.C. Cemetery. Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006 at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.

Mr. Hicks passed away March 30, 2006. He was born in Mansfield, LA.

He is survived by his mother, Eddie Lee White; children: Geraldine Sumner, Roslyn Herod, Rosevelt Hicks, Jr., Shannon Hicks Mitchell, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 aunt, Martha McCray; special friend, Bennie Scott and best friend, Walker Miles.
