Ben Eugene Smith

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Ben E. Smith, 67, of Mansfield, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday April 9, 2006 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield.

Mr. Smith was born November 19, 1938 to the late Mr. and Mrs. LM Smith of Mansfield and passed away Friday April 7, 2006 at 11:25 AM. Mr. Smith will be remembered as an avid Hunter and fisherman, Loving Father and Husband.

Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife Kay Nichols Smith of 46 years; brother Melvin Smith and wife Evelyn Smith of DeQuincy, LA; daughter Vonda Poarch and husband Gary of Florien, LA; sons Steven Smith of Mansfield, LA, and Kenny Smith and wife Terri of Shreveport, LA; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith, Aaron Smith, Dewayne Smith, David Sepulvado, Dustin Sepulvado, and William Judy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ralph Smith, Jon Clark, and Gary Poarch.
