Herbert L. Williams

Union Springs Cemetery, Sabine Parish, LA

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Herbert L. Williams, 89, will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be Rev. R.C. Miller. Interment will follow at Union Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Williams passed away May 8, 2006 at DeSoto Regional Health Center after a short illness. He was born in Benson, LA and was a life long resident of Mansfield. Mr. Williams was employed as a Carpenter for Nabor Trailers of Mansfield and he was a Mason.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Willis; parents, Forrest and Josephine Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Sistrunk and husband, James; grandson, Greg Sistrunk and wife, Anna; granddaughter, Sonya Harris and husband, Jeff of Pleasant Hill; brother, Johnny Williams of Colorado; great grandchildren: Lauren, Megan and Landry Sistrunk and Jakota, Skylie and Madison Harris.
