Frances Shadoin Cobb

Spring Ridge Cemetery, Sabine Parish, LA

MANSFIELD, LA - Graveside services for Frances Shadoin Cobb, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 18, 2006 at Spring Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Joe Waggener officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 17th.

Mrs. Cobb, a homemaker, died April 15, 2006 at DeSoto Regional Medical Center in Mansfield following a long illness. She was born in Benson, LA and was a lifelong resident of Mansfield, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Johnnie Shadoin; sister, Bernice Bradley; brothers, Henry, John and Robert Shadoin.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thermon Cobb of Mansfield, LA; son Michael Brett Cobb of Mansfield; sisters Mary Mabry of Shreveport, Ruby Mondello of Metairie, LA and Ruth Ragsdale of Willis, TX; brothers Bernard Shadoin of Benson, LA, Ben Shadoin of Bridge City, TX and George Shadoin of Many, LA.
