Ronald R. Colton

Out of State, Hall Cemetery, Langley, AR

FRIERSON, LA - Funeral services for Ronald R. Colton, 63, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday April 17, 2006 at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Johnson, pastor of Harvest Time Church. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Hall Cemetery, Langley, AR.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006 at the funeral home.

Mr. Colton was born January 20, 1943 in Shreveport, LA and passed away Thursday April 13, 2006 in Shreveport, LA. He was a 33 year resident of Frierson, LA. Mr. Colton was a loyal and dedicated employee with Colton Contractors for 35 years and the Nethertons for 13 years and was a heavy equipment operator of extreme talent. He was a member of Harvest Time Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon B. Colton; sister, Anna Colton and brother, Vernon B. Colton, Jr.

Mr. Colton is survived by his wife, Sharon Colton; two sons, Tim Colton and wife Angie and Terry Colton and wife, Angel; one grandson and three granddaughters all of Frierson, LA; mother, Varnell Colton of Shreveport, LA; sister, Frances Strange of Pineville, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Buster Netherton, Steve Callaway, James Sharpley, Mickey Joyner, Dusty Wadsworth, Malcolm Colton, Thomas Dove and Scott Bounds.Forest Park Funeral Homeand Cemeteries 221-7181.
