Maxine Garner Melton

Highland Cemetery, Mansfield, LA

MANSFIELD, LA - Graveside services for Mrs. Maxine Melton will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Highland Cemetery in Mansfield with Rev. Ken Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery under direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield.

Visitation will be he held on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Mansfield from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Melton, 83 of Mansfield, died Saturday in the Desoto Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and loving mother and was of the Methodist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Melton; one daughter, Gail Melton Garcia; and one brother James Garner.

Survivors are two sons, Mike Melton and wife Pam of Mansfield, and Ricky Melton and wife Barbara of Stonewall, LA; one daughter, Karen Calvert and husband Bill of Mansfield, LA; one sister, Betty Bostian of Many, LA; one brother, Randall Garner of San Luis Obispo, CA; seven grandchildren, Stacey Bice Sebren and husband Wesley, Blaine Garcia, Brant Stephens, Jason Stephens, Heather Melton, Amy Melton, and Christopher Melton; three great grandchildren, Ethan Wells, Ashlee Sebren, and Colin Sebren.
