Veuna Mae Lewis Boswell

Highland Cemetery, Mansfield

MANSFIELD, LA - Services for Veuna Mae Lewis Boswell, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Jay Burford of Fellowship Community Church in Kickapoo, LA. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Mansfield.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday at Rose-Neath, Mansfield.

Mrs. Boswell passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006 in Mansfield. She was born in Hutton, LA. Mrs. Boswell loved the outdoors. She was an avid hunter and gardener. She was a wonderful homemaker and also retired from AT&T. Mrs. Boswell loved her children and grandchildren and was very outgoing to family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Therman L. Boswell; parents, Dan and Rosa Lewis; brothers, Reed, Audle and Ervan Lewis.

She is survived brother, Daniel Lewis and wife Mary of Simpson, LA; daughters, Judith Henry and husband Robert of Mansfield, LA and Linda Strickland and husband Roe of Eagle Lake, MO; granddaughter, Debra McDonald; grandchildren, Les and wife Joyce, Bryan and wife Jennifer, and Michael and wife Robin; great grandchildren, Kaylee Mae, Lewis Therman, Seth, Jacob, and Jackson; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family members.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home.
