Myrtle Woodard McCoy

Garden of Memory Cemetery, Minden, LA

STONEWALL, LA- (Formerly of Minden) - Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Woodard McCoy, 88, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Self officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Minden, LA.

Mrs. McCoy, Dietician for Webster Parish Schools, died June 14, 2006 in Shreveport, LA. She was born in Hall Summit, LA and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Leroy McCoy in 1989.

She is survived by two sons, James McCoy and wife Patricia of Stonewall, LA, Glen L. McCoy and wife Lynn of Scottsboro, AL; sisters: Christene Bogan of Shreveport, LA and Mary Brumley of Sarepta, LA; four grandchildren: Michael McCoy of Pittsboro, NC, Kevin MCCoy of Raleigh, NC, Kelly McCoy of Stonewall, LA, Kenneth McCoy of Shreveport, LA; four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to: Antioch Baptist Church.
