Bethel Cemetery, Logansport
Funeral services for Ethel E. Pyle, 86, were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Rose-Neath’s Logansport Chapel with Rev. Dean Register and Rev. Al Turner officiating.
Burial was at Bethel Cemetery in Logansport, LA.
Ethel was born March 4, 1920 in De Soto Parish and passed away May 26, 2006 in Logansport. She was loved by many and will always hold a special place in our hearts. She is gone, but not forgotten by those who loved her.
Mrs. Pyle was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Pyle, parents Harvey and Ruth Brown; sisters Opal Hughes, Nell Shahan and Doris Baldwin; brothers Arlon Brown and Earl Brown and one daughter-in-law, Betty Pyle.
She is survived by one son, Raymond (Sonny) Pyle of Beaumont, TX; one daughter, Martha Guillotte and husband, Douglas, of Logansport; one sister, Mae Huckabee of Keithville, LA; six grandchildren, Wendy Guillotte, Teri Woods and husband Durrett; Kenny Guillotte and wife, Ronda, Cheryl Bridgewater, Bobby Pyle and Mike Pyle; ten great grandchildren, Chris Rutherford, Tiffany Woods, Shelby Woods, Mallory Guillotte, Macy Guillotte, Sharla Davidson, Ray Bridgewater, Lexi Pyle, Darienne Pyle and Robbie Pyle; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Durrett Woods, Mike Pyle, Bobby Pyle, Fred Bridgewater, Dane Blount and Mark Woods.
Honorary pallbearer was Dudley Huckabee.
Funeral services were under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport, LA.
