LOGANSPORT, LA- John L. Arbuckle, 71, pass away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma. Service will be at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Chapel, Logansport, La, at 2 P.M., Monday, September 25, 2006. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy McMellon & Rev. Buck Furlow. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport, La. Visitation was held on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport, La from 6-9 P.M.

He is preceded in death by father: George Arbuckle; grandson: Michael Arbuckle and daughter: LaJuana Smith.

He is survived by wife: Talma Guittolle Arbuckle of Logansport, La; mother: Teary Bell Arbuckle of Logansport, La; 4 sons: John L. Arbuckle, Jr. of Logansport, La, Dale Arbuckle of Logansport, La, Jimmy Arbuckle of Houma, La, Ricky Arbuckle of Logansport, La; 2 daughters: Sue Vonsendon of Logansport, La, Cheryl Kufahl of Kilgore, Tx; 1 sister: Shirley Gordon of Orange, Tx; 2 brothers: Gene Arbuckle of Logansport, La, Bill Arbuckle of Logansport, La; 7 grandsons; 5 granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; special friends: Larry, Brenda & Harry Furlow; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Harry Furlow, Larry Furlow, "Bull" Kyle, Rusty Hall, Ricky Daw, Todd Childress, Timmy Anderson & Charlie Hart

Honorary pallbearer will be James Brown.
