Sister Bessie Mae Clark

SHREVEPORT, LA - Sister Bessie Mae Clark, 71, departed this life July 13, 2006. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sat July 22, at Winnfield FH Chapel. Family hour will be Friday 6-7 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Frierson, LA. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant B.C. She married Ben Clark in 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents John & Iona Greggs; a sister Dorothy Fagan, a brother Willie Paul Greggs.

She is survived by daughters: Dorothy (Cookie), Alice (Arthur) Taylor, Ruthie (Scott) Phillips, Rose (John) George all of Shreveport, LA; 7 grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and a host of relatives & friends. A special friend David Williams (Curly).
