SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Arlton Hughes, 72, will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 6, 2006 at Rose-Neath Chapel, Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Franks. Interment will follow in Barber Cemetery, Lula Community, LA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 9:00 pm, Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the funeral home.

Arlton Hughes, born February 28, 1934 in Benton, LA, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 in Shreveport, LA.

Arlton Hughes was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlington. Hughes is survived by, one son Larry Hughes and Fiance Carla Nichols; sister Vera Gibson; brother James Hughes and wife Ann; grandchildren Arlyngton Hughes, and Cameron Nichols; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Stephenson, Kris Green, Tony Broyles, Michael Phillips, Clint Morris, and Kevin Coates.
