Marie A. Lewis

MANSFIELD, LA - Graveside services for Marie A. Lewis, 75, will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Sloan Cemetery, near Mansfield, La. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Sutton of Brookwood Baptist Church, Shreveport, La. Family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m.

Mrs. Lewis passed away Monday, February 7, 2005 in Shreveport, La. after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Mansfield, LA and she retired from South Central Bell with 35 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to all.

Her survivors include her husband: Oliver L. Lewis of Mansfield, La.; one son: Lloyd "Buck" Lewis and wife Mitzi of Pineville, La.; three daughters and their husbands: Gloria Anderson and Jim of Greenwood, La.; Kim Smith and Charles of Mansfield, La.; Allison Phelps and Shane of Coushatta, La.; three sisters: Maxine Jacks; Juanita Turner; Shirley Troutman and husband Bill, all of Shreveport, La.; one brother: Charles Adams and wife Joann of Mansfield, La.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Turner, Frank Turner, Bobby Collins, Steve Woods, Chris Matthews, and Kevin Smith.
