Nyhlia Rockela Youngblood

Zion Hill #1 BC Cemetery, Grand Cane

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Miss Youngblood, 23, the daughter of the late, Mr. John Youngblood, and Eva Youngblood will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Zion Hill #2 Baptist Church - Highway 175 South, in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. A. R. Harris, Sr. Interment will follow at Zion Hill #1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Grand Cane, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2008 at AGAPE Funeral Home, 2835 Hollywood Ave. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Nyhlia and her cousin/friend, Janell Youngblood, died in Arcadia, Louisiana on March 18, 2008 in an automobile accident.

She graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 2003; attended LAPREP in 1999; High Ability at Grambling in 2002; and was a 5th year Architecture student at Southern University, Baton Rouge.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Her mother, two brothers, John C. Youngblood, Jr. and John F. (Gwen) Youngblood; three, Shelia (Lewis) Spencer, Pamela Youngblood and Cilleria Harris; and a loving family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, classmates, friends, ex-coworkers and neighbors.
