John C. Youngblood, Sr.

Zion Hill #1 BC Cemetery, Grand Cane, LA

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mr. John C. Youngblood, 64, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Zion Hill #2 Baptist Church - Highway 175 South, in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Wilson. Interment will follow at Zion Hill #1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Grand Cane, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2008 at AGAPE Funeral Home - 2835 Hollywood Ave from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: His wife of 35 years, Eva Youngblood; one son John C. Youngblood, Jr. of San Francisco, CA; four daughters: Shelia (Louis) Spencer of Grand Cane, Pamela Youngblood fo Mansfield, Cilleria (Anthony) Harris and Nyhlia Youngblood of Shreveport, LA; a loving mother, Lillian Mayweather Youngblood; three brothers, Floyd (Johnnie) Hewitt, Fess (Ora) Youngblood, Judge (Shirley) Youngblood, four sisters, Eunice (Dorsey) Gilliam, Annie (Cleveland) Lacy, Stella Jackson and Elsie (Curtis) Clayand; six grandchildren; and a loving family of nieces, nephews, classmates, ex-coworkers, neighbors and friends.
