Mrs. Marguerite Epperson Wolfinger

Shreveport, LA/Houston, TX-Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite Epperson Wolfinger, age 87, of Houston, Texas formerly of Shreveport, La. will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park Funeral Home 1201 Louisiana Avenue Shreveport, Louisiana 71101 (318) 221-7181. Friends may call after 12Noon on Monday in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. Ms. Wolfinger died on Friday, July 11, 2008 in the Atria-West Chase Retirement Community in Houston Texas.

She was a retired Medical Secretary and an active member of the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church Houston, Texas, where she was a Hospice volunteer and with Can Care.

Survivors are a daughter, Mary Alice Cook and her husband, William (Bill) of Houston, TX.; a son, Joseph Sylvester Wolfinger, Jr. and his wife, Jean of Springfield, MO.; a granddaughter, Aimee La Brie; a sister, Geraldine Nicholson of Chicago, IL. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Joseph S. Wolfinger and seven siblings.

She touched many lives with her devoted and caring way, and was sustained by her strong faith in Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
