Gerald Buckmeyer

Memorial service for Gerald Buckmeyer, 59, of Mansfield, La., will be at 3 p.m. Saturday Aug. 23, 2008, at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Stanley, La., with the Rev. Dennis LaFleur and the Rev. Huie Permenter officiating. Mr. Buckmeyer died Aug. 17, 2008. Born March 2, 1949, he was the son of Hubert and Imogene Thomas Buckmeyer. Survivors include his wife, Terri Parker Buckmeyer of Mansfield; four children; stepsons, Cody Whitlock and Chase Whitlock, both of Mansfield; stepdaughter, Meredith Sparks of Mansfield; sisters, Aloma McKnight of Sachse, Becky King of Garland and Jodie Perrin of Cokeville; stepbrother, Bill Odell of Seagoville; four grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
