Mary Womack

Union Springs Cemetery, DeSoto/Sabine Parish

MANSFIELD, LA - Graveside service for Mary Womack, 85, will be Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:30 PM in Union Springs Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Pat Cobbs. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Mary was born July 28, 1923 in Haile, LA to John and Lissie Thomas; and passed away Friday, October 10, 2008. He was a longtime member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA.

Preceding Mary in death was her husband Horace Womack, Sr.; parents; brothers and sisters. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son Horace Womack and wife Theresa; daughter Lora Nell Kolb and husband Paul; sister Viola Rogers; brothers Louis Thomas and Johnny Thomas; special nephew Gary Hobbs; and Alex Kellogg whom she thought of as her on grandchild.
