Margie Rambin Priest

St. Ann’s Catholic Church Cemetery

SHREVEPORT, LA - A funeral Mass for Margie Rambin Priest, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Richard J. Lombard and concelebrating will be Father Karl Daigle, both of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Church Cemetery in Stonewall, LA.

Her family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, September 29th at Osborn Funeral Home. A vigil will follow at 7 p.m.

Margie was born November 4, 1913, in Stonewall, LA to Joseph Howard Rambin, Sr. and Florence Lafitte. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild in Shreveport.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Crawford Priest, her parents and her brother, J. Howard Rambin, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Jack Priest and his wife, Laura of Huntsville, AL, their four children, Phyllis White, Mary Guthrie, John David Priest and Jackson Priest, six great-grandchildren, Ryan White, Savannah White, T. H. Guthrie, Jordann Pester, Cassie Priest and Alex Priest and her beloved sister, Genevieve Hamner of Shreveport.
