Robert M. Speights, Jr.

Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery

KEATCHIE, LA - Services for Robert M. Speights, Jr., 65, of Keatchie, LA will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Shiloh Baptist Church, near Keatchie, LA.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Officiating the service will be Brother Don Scott.

The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath's Logansport Chapel from 5:00 p.m. til 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2008.

Robert passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 in Shreveport, LA after a sudden illness.

Robert was born July 26, 1943 in Shreveport, LA to the late Robert, Sr. and Vera Gibbs Speights. Mr. Speights spent most of his life working as an iron worker. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Ollie Mae Pierce Speights of Keatchie; three daughters, Kim Cody, Karen Weaver and Lori Kaye Aaron; two sisters, Nan Gandy and Pat Reda and seven grandchildren. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport Chapel, 697-4441.
