Cheryl Lynn Robbins

MANSFIELD, LA - Cheryl Lynn Robbins, 53, passed a way Saturday, April 26, 2008 at home surrounded by her immediate family after a lengthy illness. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 35 years, Andy Robbins, their two daughters, Michelle Austin and husband Ernie and Angela Lynn Robbins; her mother Opal Pinder and brother Dennis Pinder and wife Cindy. She also leaves behind her three grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Keith, Haley and Noah. She had many numerous nieces and nephews. Cheryl was also looking forward to seeing her unborn granddaughter due in July. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Elmer J. Pinder.
Funeral services will be held at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 with Reverend Mary Jo Babcock, with First United Methodist Church of Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow at Oxford Cemetery which is surrounded by family owned land. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Cheryl was employed by International Paper Mill- Mansfield for 26 years where she enjoyed her work. She also served on numerous community and civic organizations. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her family and Andy's cooking. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
