Karen Elaine Swarthout

MURFREESBORO, TN- Karen Elaine Swarthout, age 60, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at MiddleTennesseeMedicalCenter. She was a native of Des Moines, IA, and a resident of Keatchie, LA for many years and a hostess with Chic-Fil-A.

Mrs. Swarthout was preceded in death by her father, William Elifrits. She is survived by her mother, Betty Wolfe Warnock; son, Mike Townsley; daughters, Shannon Elifrits and Michelle Briley; brothers, Gary Kruse, Doug Elifrits and Rodney Elifrits and a sister, Vicky Kruse.

Memorial contributions may be made in Karen's name to the Primary Hope and Care Clinic, 745 S. Church St. Building 6, Suite 601, Murfreesboro, TN37130. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
