SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral Services for Sis. Levada E. Barfield will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion B.C., Kingston, LA. Pastor John H. Nash, officiant. Interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Family Hour Friday, December 19, 2008 from 8 to 9 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home.

She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 after a brief illness. She was a retired Child Care Provider for over 25 years. She was an active member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Kingston, LA, where she served faithfully in many auxiliaries.

She was preceded in death by her husband, mother and five siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories two loving and devoted children, Karl Wayne and Shelia Denise Barfield, one granddaughter Karlandra Barfield and a host of family and friends.
