Pauline Jewel Fletcher Roberts

SHREVEPORT, LA- Graveside services for Pauline Jewel Fletcher Roberts, 88, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2008, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, LA. Officiating will be Reverend Dennis LaFleur.

Mrs. Roberts, a lifetime resident of Logansport, LA died on April 5, 2008 at Grace Home in Shreveport, LA after a lengthy illness. She was a retired bookkeeper for Ford Motor Company in Logansport.

A member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Horace Roberts and parents, Claude Oscar Fletcher and Mae Ella Parker Fletcher. Her daughter, Betty Virginia Roberts of Shreveport, LA and granddaughter, Rhonda Nicole Kelley of Dallas, TX, survive her.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin G. Roberts, Ernest L. Nix, James Williams and Alton Tyler.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Live Oak Nursing Home, the Grace Home and two special caregivers, Patricia Smith and Keshia Ford, who had been with her for the past ten months. She will be greatly missed.
