Dan E. Gannon

Dan E. Gannon- Logansport, LA Services for Dan E. Gannon, 73, will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Logansport Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Cecil Jones. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 1:00 until 9:00 PM.

Dan was born September 8, 1935 in Logansport, LA to Daniel and Vernell Gannon; and passed away at home on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Preceding Dan in death were his son Dan. E. Gannon, Jr.; sister Billie Seago; parents Dan W. Gannon and Vernell Gannon. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years Patricia Gannon; son Scott Gannon and wife Connie; daughter Dana Myers and husband Michael; brothers John, Jerry, Tommy, and Kenneth Gannon; sisters Glenda Cawthorn, Karen Trosclair, and Omega Mullen; grandchildren Scott Gannon and wife Heather, Daniel Gannon and wife Brandy, Jesse Gannon and wife Felicia, Sam Gannon, Sarah Gannon, Angela Myers and friend David Daughtry, and David Myers; great grandchildren Zack, Andrew and Erin Gannon, and Michael Daughtry; and a host for nieces, nephews, friends.

Honoring Dan as pallbearers will be Scott Gannon, Daniel Gannon, Jesse Gannon, Sam Gannon, Sarah Gannon, David Myers, Gary Seago, and Johnny Gannon. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Booker and Bruce Brown.
