Alice Hines Williams

Mt. Moriah BC Cemetery

FRIERSON, LA- Funeral services for Alice Hines Williams, 99, will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sat., June 28, 2008 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Johnny Baylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday night from 6-7 p,m, at Good Samaritan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams was born on September 8, 1908 in Gloster, La and passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Pierremont Healthcare Center following a brief illness. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel & Mable H. Hines; husband, Lee Houston Williams and five siblings.

She is survived by one sister, Catherine Flemings and children, Lloyd Williams, Keary Williams, Nevada Walker, Julia Clark (Avoid) and Clotee Williams of Frierson, La, Ruby Fellows (George) and Rosie Pegues (Samuel) of Shreveport, La, Peter Williams (Janie) of Houston, TX and Albert Williams (Celine) of Los Angeles, CA.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons of Mrs. Williams.
