Roberta Easley Plummer

Memory Lawn Cemetery, Natchitoches

MANSFIELD, LA - Roberta Easley Plummer, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008, in Mansfield, LA. Funeral services will be Friday, January 18, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Waggener, assisted by Rev. Ron Brown. Burial will follow in the Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.

Roberta was born August 23, 1923 in Goldonna, LA to Robert and Lula Easley. She has lived in Natchitoches, Oak Grove, and was currently a resident of Mansfield, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church Mansfield.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack Easley, and Robert Easley; sisters Mary Cox, and Erla Spears. Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband of 67 years Allen H. Plummer, of Mansfield, LA; sons Allen H. Plummer, Jr, of Shreveport, LA, and Robert E. Plummer and wife Lynda Black of Mansfield, LA; daughter Elizabeth Plummer Fontenot and husband Wayne of Austin, TX; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jared Fontenot, Dustin Fontenot, Allen Plummer, III, John Garmany, David Platt, and Lee Hollowell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Whitford, Earl Morgan, and F. B. Ward. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, LA 318-872-4660.
