Robert "Pops" J. Hargett

Highland Cemetery, Mansfield

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Robert "Pops" J. Hargett will be 10:00 Am Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. William T. Crosby. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Mansfield, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 11, 2008 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.

Robert was born July 18, 1936 in Longview, TX to Richard and Lora Hargett and passed away on August 9, 2008 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, LA.

Preceding Robert in death was his wife Alice "Butch" Hargett and his parents. Left behind to cherish his memory are his two sons Joseph Britt Hargett and wife Jenny and Richard Blake Hargett and wife Melanie; three daughters Babs Rossiter and husband Mike, Becky Ponthieux and husband John, and Beth Hargett and fiancé Robert Weir; and grandchildren Brook, Cade, Jake, Jesse, Holland, Britton, Justin, and Brandon.
