Marie Gallaspy

Highland Cemetery, Mansfield

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Marie Gallaspy, 87, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 22, 2008 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Officiating the services will be Rev. Bob Latham and Rev. Mike McConnaughy. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.

Marie was born July 7, 1921 in Mitchell, LA to Frank and Corean Weeks and passed away on December 19, 2008 in Mansfield, LA.

Preceding Marie in death were her husband Price Hewitt Gallaspy, and one daughter; and three sisters. Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons Daniel Hewitt Gallaspy and wife Debra, Eddie Price Gallaspy and wife Dianne, and Huey Frank Gallaspy and wife Kim; eight daughters Martha Walker and husband Gary, Gail Gage and husband Kelvin, Joyce Baldwin, Donna Ree Winget, Bonnie Goodman and husband James, Jackie Sue Albright, Carolyn Cobb and husband John and Lula Granger and husband Ed; sister Irie Sanders and husband Charles; 28 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Honoring Marie as pallbearers will be Daniel Gallaspy, Eddie Gallaspy, Frank Gallaspy, Kelvin Gage, Jay Clements, and Tyson Baldwin. Honorary pallbearers will be John Cobb, Buford Morris, Darren Hamilton, Jackie Albright, James Goodman, Dewayne Brumley, Jimmy Gallaspy, Douglas Sanders, Gary Walker, Taylor Gallaspy and Tyler Gage.
