Nellie Mae English Cordova

STANLEY, LA - Services celebrating the life of Nellie Mae English Cordova will be held at 1:00 PM a Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Donnie Ray McNaughton, Rev. Bennie Bynog, and Rev. Benjamin McNaughton.
Nellie Mae was born September 1, 1917 in DeSoto Parish, LA. She passed away January 5, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was a DeSoto Parish resident for most of her life. She was a member of Logansport First United Pentecostal Church.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She loved to cook and be with her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite places to go was her church. She will always be remembered as a mother who was always there for her children and family. She was a loving wife and mother always.
Left to cherish beautiful memories are her children, sons Buddy Cordova and wife Alice, Raybon Cordova, Bobby Cordova and wife Linda, Jimmy Cordova and wife Wanda; daughter Doris Cordova all of Stanley, LA; grandchildren Ricky Cordova and wife Lori, Mickey Cordova and wife Lisa, Jonathan Cordova and wife Brandi, Libby Cordova and husband Eli, Chas Cordova, Lacey Cordova, Joe Cordova, Shane Cordova, Jason Cordova and 12 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a very special Thank You to family and friends who helped during our time of need.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Cordova, Jr., Chase Cordova, Jonathan Cordova, Tommy Ebey, Ray Lafield, and Eli Raybon.
