Loyd Al Smith

Centuries MP

STONEWALL LA- Loyd Al Smith, 68 of Stonewall, LA went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4, 2008. Mr. Smith has been a resident of Stonewall for the past 14 years. He has been a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle for the past 35 years and also served on the Board of Directors. He retired as a welder from Shaw Alloy Pipe Company.

Mr. Smith was survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gloria Smith; daughter, Sheila Haynes and husband Gene; sons, Kirby Smith also Keith Smith and wife Vicki; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Keith Smith, Kirby Smith, Gene Haynes, Anthony Smith, Cody Haynes and Joe Dolan.

Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Coats.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Curtis Spears Pastor of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Centuries. Centuries Funeral Home, 318-686-4334
